Horses That Can't Go Barefoot

I've attempted to isolate a specific type of horse that can't go barefoot, but I haven't found any good "Must Be Shod" candidates

I occasionally find a horse who seems that might need shoes because its feet are so bad, but 6 month later... it's barefoot and sounder than ever, perhaps using boots for protection on tough trails.

How does this happen? We take these horses shoes off, give them a balanced LIM type trim, fix the thrush and dietary problems and they end up growing great hoof wall and super durable soles.

With their hoofs ability to flex and move restored, their contracted and under run heels strengthen and toughen, and their soles become as tough as the terrain they fly over.

I'm looking for more "can't go barefoot" candidates! If you have a horse that has to be shod, we can talk.

Here are just a few horses owners were told their horses Couldn't Go Barefoot:

BC - Thoroughbred with history of lameness
Dali - Standardbred with thin, shelly walls
Emmett , TB with repeat sole bruising
Fancy, arab with Founder!
Desi -21 YO QH with tender feet
Scout - Navicular QH
Leaguer - Navicular QH
Promise - QH with contracted heels
