Wry foot!!!
In May, we noticed that Samson was beginning to walk on the outside walls of his front feet, which left his inside walls slightly longer. We noticed it, but I was hoping it was a fluke. His ;legs are straight, so why was he walking on one wall and avoiding the other on both front feet?
Vicki and her vet encouraged me to level his feet by invading the live sole on the inside walls slightly so that they matched the too short outside walls. Both walls had good sole depth, so I agreed on the condition that we boot Samson until his feet had recovered their concavity at the walls.
At least the weather was getting better - dryer - and Vicki could start riding again! |
