The thing we discovered is that Samson didn't have any serious bony changes, but he DID have something that looked like a pocket of thrush on the frog corium.
I desperately want to get good at reading X-Rays!
One thing we DID notice on these x-rays is the underlying imbalance in the coffin bone; the reason his lateral (exterior) wall is always shorter than his medial (interior) wall is because the lateral wall of his coffin bone decalcified after years of weighting it and reducing the blood flow in that brt of the bone.
